This first vinyl release following the tracks debut on our recent Modernists CD is assured club plays from eager mod and R&B DJs. The vocalist on Chained Am I was unknown until some astute detective work revealed it to be Ansler Montell, who wrote the song with Johnny Northern and J. R. Bailey.
